You won’t believe it! We never thought we’d find a Borneo oud which came exclusively from the Malaysian portion of that island.

Malaysian oud has always originated from West Malaysia, the part which is adjacent to Thailand and neighboring Vietnam. And Borneo oud has always originated from Kalimantan, the Indonesian portion of Borneo, which is why it is commonly called ‘East Borneo’ oud.

But, we got a little bored of all the East Borneos that have flooded the websites of every Jack and Joe. We wanted something new, and we were sure you did, too! So, we dug deep and we dug far into the jungles of West Borneo to produce an exclusively Malaysian Borneo Oud.

You know that part of the dry-down of your typical East Borneo where the strong, almost rancid woodsiness overtakes the fragrance, leaving you to wonder where all the fruity-floral and honey notes went?
